Back In the 1940s, two Yale pharmacologists, Louis Goodman and Alfred Gilman, conducted experiments with nitrogen mustard, a derivative of mustard gas. Their research showed that it could shrink tumors in lymphoma patients, marking the beginning of modern chemotherapy

      Of course research can cost into the  billions, as we know Trump needs money for his tax cuts, so,  Trump’s administration made significant cuts to medical research funding, particularly targeting the National Institutes of Health (NIH). His administration terminated more than 1,450 grants, withholding over $750 million in funds. Officials claimed they were curbing wasteful spending and eliminating research they deemed “unscientific,” but many of the canceled projects focused on pandemic preparedness, dementia research, and HIV prevention.

       Yes, it's easy to bury your head into sand and watch American Idol. But that's how we got here, by looking the other way, and giving in to the idea that Trump really gives a fucking Big Mac about America, or put it other way
