The problem with trying to keep up with the Trump Administration 2.0

is that they keep throwing shit up against the wall, some stick, some don't.

          

                   Let's start with the GOP's favorite subject, God. 

       What better state to proclaim the glory of Jesus than Oklahoma?

         In June 2024, State Superintendent Ryan Walters issued a directive requiring all public schools to have a Bible in every grade 5–12 classroom and to teach from the Bible, including the Ten Commandments, during the 2024–25 school year. Hold on, not just a Bible, but the “God Bless the U.S.A. Bible” (also known as the Trump Bible) is a King James Version Bible packaged with U.S. founding documents—such as the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, Bill of Rights—and the Pledge of Allegiance. It was created by Lee Greenwood and publicly marketed by Donald Trump. Trump reportedly received over $1.3 million in royalty income from this version alone. 

    There are only two versions that meet all criteria: the “God Bless the U.S.A. Bible” endorsed by Donald Trump for ~$60, and the “We the People Bible” endorsed by Donald Trump Jr. for ~$90. Critics argued this effectively narrowed competition to Trump-affiliated Bibles and unfairly excluded cheaper or free versions. Legal concerns were raised about potential violations of both state procurement laws and the constitutional separation of church and state.
