The Real Cost of Those Eggs pt.51

19 Russian drones recently entered Polish airspace, prompting Poland to invoke NATO’s Article 4, which calls for emergency consultations among member states. Poland and NATO allies responded swiftly, shooting down several drones and raising defense readiness. While Russia claims the drones were targeting Ukraine and not Poland, many experts believe the incursions were deliberate provocations to test NATO’s resolve

Israeli fighter jets carried out a high-stakes airstrike in Doha, Qatar, targeting senior Hamas leaders. The twist? President Trump wasn’t informed in advance—not by Netanyahu, not by the Israeli government. According to CNN and other sources, Trump learned about the strike from General Dan Caine, not from Israel. By the time his envoy, Steve Witkoff, contacted Qatari officials,
And where is our Great Negotiator?
Has it been 24 hours yet?
There’s growing concern—even among Republicans—that President Trump’s approach to Russia may be too soft or overly optimistic. Despite threats of sanctions, Trump has not followed through decisively, prompting GOP lawmakers to urge tougher action against Putin. Putin has repeatedly ignored Trump’s deadlines for ceasefires in Ukraine, and some say he’s using diplomatic charm to stall while continuing aggressive military actions. Trump himself admitted frustration: “We get a lot of bulls‑‑‑ thrown at us by Putin... He’s very nice all the time, but it turns out to be meaningless”.So while Trump may believe he’s playing a strategic game, critics argue Putin is exploiting that optimism to buy time and avoid real consequences.
Let’s move on to the Trump–Netanyahu relationship
Trump has supported Israel strongly in the past, but he recently expressed being “not thrilled” with Israel’s military actions in Doha, Qatar. Netanyahu's government has reportedly engaged with Trump insiders like Jared Kushner to shape post-ceasefire plans with Hamas. Some analysts suggest Netanyahu is using Trump’s desire for a peace deal to advance Israel’s own strategic goals, especially in Gaza and Iran. So, it seems to me that Netanyahu, like Putin, is “playing” Trump in a deceptive way, leveraging and using Trump’s goals of ambitions to serve both their interests
I think we have to remember that both Putin and Netanyahu are seasoned geopolitical players, whereas Trump’s not. Yes, he desires to be a peacebroker, but he thinks everything is a game of Monopoly. Whether he is being “played” or simply outmaneuvered, the result is the same: Trump’s foreign policy is being shaped by forces that don’t always align with U.S. interests. For a man? Who rants about “America First” in the world of foreign policy, we are last and falling fast.
