The Real Cost of Those Eggs pt.63

According to Trump Venezuela. Is smuggling in millions of ounces of fentanyl, that millions. That doesn't jive with the 2025 report by Trump's own U.S. State Department’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, the main significant source of illicit fentanyl affecting the United States is Mexico — not Venezuela. Do I dare say, but Trump said?

Let's go back to Trump's last campaign when asked all his buddies at the fossil fuel consortium . As the Trump administration says,

                         “Promise made Promise kept”

                                                  Oh Look!

                                 Venezuela’s oil reserves

Venezuela has the largest proven crude-oil reserves in the worldAs of recent estimates, those proven reserves are around 303 billion barrels of crude oil. According to its state oil company Pdvsa, those reserves are about 300,878 million barrels (i.e. ~300.9 billion barrels).

Are you still asking why is our military ramping up and doing maneuvers along the shores of Venezuela?  Is it the continuation of the global effort on the war on drugs you know the fentanyl crisis

Has Trump asked or told anyone the reason for the show of force?

Venezuela’s ~303 billion barrels of oil give whoever influences it a kind of global “energy gravity.” For a U.S. leader, stabilizing or taking that supply would help steady world oil markets and reduce reliance on Middle Eastern reserves. Gaining influence or outright ownership of Venezuela’s energy sector, could be seen as a way to control world markets, all the world power would pass directly through Washington, all the power goes to and through Trump. On the backs of our sons and daughters. What did private bone spur say “It will be easy” .

                                   Not to repeat myself but:

                                            Oh, look Oil

And so  there it is, but don’t worry Big Oil will still get their Tax breaks, just because.  Under current law, “big oil” is in line to receive sizable tax breaks or benefits in 2025 and the years ahead, particularly because of the recent overhaul under OBBBA. That means many U.S. oil and gas corporations will likely continue to pay below-statutory tax rates or avoid substantial tax liability altogether. How about You?
