You Are Not Alone!

The Real Cost of Those Eggs pt.25

   From far away a freight appears to moving very slowly, with that said there is a bunch of shit that’s going to wallop all of America, no matter your party, your race or who you supported, basically from sea to shining sea. One of the things that has always kept me level-headed was the fact that, somewhere out there, someone has it worse than I. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not celebrating the fact, it just seems to keep me from scoring a dime bag. Another thing God didn’t bless me with the best looks or in case brains, but he gave me an “it’s going to be alright” sense of humor. Hold that thought.

                              (This is where the title comes into play.)

            

                 The funny thing about life is that it don’t give a shit who you voted for, or did the Mets win last night. Go back to the year 2009, the housing debacle. Now, at the time, my wife and I both found ourselves unemployed. Thank God for my brother and wife's extending a much-needed helping hand,  along with President Obama’s “Making Homes Affordable program. Like many, we made it to the other side. Not without plenty. It took several years, but we caught up and moved forward.  

                   

                    So you think that you paid your dues, all are paid back, and let’s go, Mets. You find that helping family or sometimes friends can stab you in your heart, ass, balls, you name the hurt. You say to yourself, for all we have done to help these fuckers, all the times we opened up our house in their time of need.  And we are the ones that got fucked big time. Enter my sense of humor, “Joe says, Fuck’em where they stand” I won’t give them the satisfaction of the shmirk on my face. Now, this method of mine is by far not a cure-all for personal hurt. But again, it keeps me from doing Tequila shots for breakfast.

                     

               Like you, the reader, going through what I’m sure is a lot worse, Please remember there are alot of people in your world that have it and dealing with alot worse problems.
